    At this time this service cannot be provided in the following states: Puerto Rico, Hawaii, and Alaska.

    Have your TV professionally installed by experienced, knowledgeable technicians (residential installations only). To receive a High Definition TV picture, you must have the proper HD source and cables prior to setting up an appointment. Cables may be purchased on or select Costco warehouses. Additional charges may apply for extra labor and equipment.

    This installation includes recycling of 1 existing television. This service does not cover recycling of a DLP, Rear Projection, and or Console TV.

    Service does include:

    • On-stand set-up: Secure TV to manufacturer-supplied stand
    • Home theater set-up: Connect TV to new and existing components: DVD, DVR, VCR, game console or audio components
    • Program remotes: Up to two non-learning universal remotes
    • Recycle old TV: restrictions and fees may apply
    • Educational demonstration of the basic TV functions (up to 20 minutes)
    • 90-day labor warranty

    Service does not include:
    • Assembly of entertainment center
    • Wall mounting of TV
    • Mounting of speakers or in-wall wire concealment
    • Programming learning-style remote controls (PC required)

    After placing your order you will be contacted by the installer to schedule an appointment. At that time the installer will go over a pre-installation site survey and the install procedure to determine if there are any additional expectations that would lead to additional fees to be paid by the customer prior to beginning the installation.

    Prior to TV setup, you must have the TV, TV stand and necessary cables.

    Installers will not install satellite dishes, or run video feeds from other rooms.

    Appointment times are based on a 4-hour window for the installer to arrive.

    Great product
    Pros: great new features

    "I recently purchased Samsung 60" Smart, hd, 3-d TV with the 5 year service contract. I had it installed by Costco recommended installers. However, this equipment is so complicated that the installers had little time to do any explaining. It would be great for both Samsung and Costco to include special technology classes or small group sessions for new customers of this type of complicated TV. After all, what satisfaction does the custormer really get if nobody is around to teach the extra functions of this new technology?"

    Pros: they took it out of the box.
    Cons: did not get what i felt i was paying for.

    "When I read the service that was to be given, I felt that it was well worth the money. I dreaded having the program one of our remotes. Well, although it states that they will program 2 remotes, a universal remote is not considered a "TV remote" so they will not program it. Supposedly our Playstation would work with the new TV. When setting it up, the installer stated that we did not have a 3 D player and 3 D would not work. We told him that we did and have previously confirmed. They left with our old TV cord so we had no cord for that TV, a universal remote that does not work, and a 3D DVD player that would not work. Even the surround sound would not work and when they left. I called Playstation & they said it was set up wrong in the menu which they did and I got it fixed. I was able to figure out how to get the surround sound. When I pay someone to set it up, I expect it to done better than I could do it myself. I am female and wished I had done it myself and saved a lot of money, wasted time waiting for them to answer the phone, waiting for days for them to arrive. My frustration would have been with myself."

    Well worth it!

    "Had two new TV's installed. Two techs arrived on time. Installed and set up both sets quickly and took away old TV's. They were courteous and efficient."

    Worth the money
    Pros: simple
    "Would recommend this if you don't enjoy setting these things up on your own. All of our questions were answered, the remotes programmed, wiring was hidden, etc."
